Pretty Looks Review

Girls know the struggle of having the hassle to do their eyebrow makeup.  It takes more effort than it looks... Having a steady hand, taking a few minutes to have it on fleek and the frustration to redo it every time we make a mistake.  Since I don't really want to wake up so early every time just to do my makeup, I decided to try out this whole semi-permanent eyebrow thing that has been going viral through social media. Now, I know what you're thinking. This might not be a good idea. People have been saying that once you grow old, that semi tattoo would look bad or something. Honestly, I haven't met anyone who has complained about it, and I've seen quite a few elderly women going to the store and having their eyebrows retouched. And I know it's a little scary to make a decision that would be permanent, but I'm telling you guys right now, I have no regrets and I love what they did with my eyebrows and it takes me barely any effort at all to do them now. ...

The Cauliflower Pizza

The Cauliflower Pizza I've been trying to teach myself how to cook whenever I can. (Take note, I'm not a very good cook. That's the sad truth ~ ಥ_ಥ ) Anyways, I've been searching for healthier food and see if I could try it out.  I saw this video on YouTube about using cauliflower instead of dough, and I got really curious. It looks easy enough to do. Plus, it's healthier too. Procedures and ingredients listed down below. Credits by: Tasty INGREDIENTS: 1 head cauliflower ½ cup mozzarella, shredded ½ teaspoon dried oregano ½ teaspoon dried basil ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon garlic powder 1 egg tomato sauce mushrooms tomato slices pepper PREPARATION: 1. Preheat oven to 500˚F/260˚C. 2. Remove the leaves and stem of the cauliflower and transfer pieces to a food processor. 3. Rice the cauliflower by pulsing it in the food processor, or by shredding it on a box grater. 4. Once riced, transfer to a la...

"And She Was Gone"

Anyone still remembers this show? I used to watch it way back when I was still in my teens. This one episode really stuck me though. I'm sure people who used to watch this would understand why. "And She Was Gone" She chose to walk alone Though others wondered why Refused to look before her, Kept eyes cast upwards, Towards the sky. She didn't have companions No need for earthly things. Only wanted freedom, From what she felt were Puppet strings. She longed to be a bird. That she might fly away. She pitied every blade of grass For planted they would stay. She longed to be a flame, That brightly danced alone. Felt jealous of the steam That made the air its only home. Some say she wished too hard. Some say she wished too long. But we awoke one autumn day To find that she was gone. The trees, they say stood witness. The sky refused to tell. But someone who had seen it said The story played out well. ...

Uncomfortable Situation with Uber

Before I start telling you about my uncomfortable encounter with this one, I would like to let everyone know that just because I had this experience with certain drivers or people in general in the past, it doesn’t mean every driver is like that. Moving on, Whenever I go out somewhere such as the other night, I usually just take an Uber going to the location since it’s a lot safer compared to just getting a regular taxi on the streets. With Uber, or any other well-known taxi app, the estimated price range of the trip is already shown on the app and the information’s of the driver is already put together for everyone’s safety. This one night when my friends invited me to go party with them, I got an Uber. It was alright at first. The driver calls me on the phone to let me know he’s at the location and once I got on, we headed our way to our destination. First off, I’m a very friendly person. Even to people I don’t know. I don’t really think it’s necessary to make things f...

Quote : Twisted Seduction

When I look up at the universe, It makes me realize how insignificant our existence is in here. If we were not here, It wouldn't matter to the universe at any level. Where we are... Who we're with... What we owe... How much money we have... It's all so irrelevant to the universe. It really is important to sharing this life with someone who understands you. Who connects with you... Whose mere presence next to you enhances your life.

Self-Discovery?

While I was scavenging through old files to delete, I saw this list right here. I found it years back from somewhere, so I thought I might as well share it with you guys. It's a list of questions that you might find interesting. Maybe it would help you get to know yourself better. You might be surprised with what you write. What activity in your life lights you up with joy?  What is something you always love doing, even when you are tired or rushed? Why? If a relationship or job makes you unhappy, do you choose to stay or leave?

(NAIA) Ninoy Aquino International Airport

The Manila Airport Personally, I just feel such a disappointment every time I come here. What I’m talking about is just this place specifically. The thought of some staff members who work here (most of the security guards in terminal 1) tend to be such assholes at times. I do understand that they're doing their job, but there's a proper way to do their job without being a dick about it. This is just a short story, something I would like to share from MY personal experience every time I go to this airport. Whether it's to travel, pick up or drop someone off. I had to drop off my friend at the airport in Terminal 1. They don't allow people who aren't a passenger to get in, and so I had to wait in the waiting area/lounge area, as they call it. They won't allow you to stand at the entrance and wait for your friend which is honestly bullshit. I was having a hard time contacting my friend, since h...

My Experience in Sales : Comic Alley

I like trying out new things, so this one time I decided to try out being a sales lady. Which was surprisingly fun. Probably because everyone in the store I worked at was nice and helpful. Even the branch manager was very friendly, and he didn’t really pressure me or anything. He did reassured me that I could do better every time. The only thing that sucked about it was   Minimum Wage .  Yep, I don't know anyone who's excited about just getting minimum payment. Especially since it involves you working in a store for about 13 hours a day. Just standing up and trying to convince someone to buy stuff. We had to practically shout outside the store and telling them to visit. It was honestly embarrassing at first, but I got used to it. Eventually, I just didn’t care if people stared. I guess it doesn’t make it easier since I had bright pink hair that time (I used to color  my hair a lot). Almost every customer I greeted wanted to touch my hair to check if it’s real or not....
