My Daily Perspective

Anyone still remembers this show? I used to watch it way back when I was still in my teens. This one episode really stuck me though. I'm sure people who used to watch this would understand why. "And She Was Gone" She chose to walk alone Though others wondered why Refused to look before her, Kept eyes cast upwards, Towards the sky. She didn't have companions No need for earthly things. Only wanted freedom, From what she felt were Puppet strings. She longed to be a bird. That she might fly away. She pitied every blade of grass For planted they would stay. She longed to be a flame, That brightly danced alone. Felt jealous of the steam That made the air its only home. Some say she wished too hard. Some say she wished too long. But we awoke one autumn day To find that she was gone. The trees, they say stood witness. The sky refused to tell. But someone who had seen it said The story played out well. ...

‘The spot was empty. Empty but not void. Void is when there is absolutely nothing there and the nothing is natural, a complete vacuum. But empty - with empty, you are aware of what's supposed to be there. Empty means something is missing.’... 

When I look up at the universe, It makes me realize how insignificant our existence is in here. If we were not here, It wouldn't matter to the universe at any level. Where we are... Who we're with... What we owe... How much money we have... It's all so irrelevant to the universe. It really is important to sharing this life with someone who understands you. Who connects with you... Whose mere presence next to you enhances your life.
